SURPLUS

SURPLUS IS WHEN WE GET EXTRA ITEMS THAT WE DISTRIBUTE IMMEDIATELY (NOT ON OUR REGULAR DISTRIBUTION EVENT DATES). INTAKES ARE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL. BRING YOUR AGH INTAKE I.D. CARD AND RECEIVE PLENTY! NO PAPERWORK TO BE COMPLETED - RECEIVE AND GO!

CLOTHES & THINGS

AGH ALSO PROVIDES CLEAN NEW/USED CLOTHING, ETC…THAT ARE DONATED BY OUR MANY GENEROUS DONORS.

EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY

ON CALL 24/7… SERVICING A DIVERSE INTAKE STRUCTURE THAT INCLUDES THE HOMELESS, ELDERLY, DISABLED, UNEMPLOYED AND UNDEREMPLOYED WHO NEED ASSISTANCE TO MAKE ENDS MEET.

VOLUNTEER INFO

A GreatER Harvest food pantry PLUS reserves the right to terminate volunteers and/or any services rendered at anytime without explanation for any reason. Only reliable, trustworthy individuals that we deem acceptable with the very best intentions will be able to volunteer. Thank You for your cooperation as we look to the future of great volunteers.

VOLUNTEER - INSTRUCTIONS

2. Fill in all the information that pertains to you, except your signature; if granted an interview, your signature will be requested at that time.
NOTE: ALL APPLICATIONS ARE WAITLISTED. APPLICATIONS ARE SUBMITTED INTO OUR VOLUNTEER APP POOL AND SELECTED AT RANDOM.
3. Save the file as your last and first name - VA (ex: Johnson Robert - VA)
4. Email the file to volunteerapp@agreaterharvest.org
5. If selected, you will receive and email or telephone call with further instructions.


APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE NOW

2. Please fill in all the information that pertains to you (left side) in the spaces provided. If you skip any part of this application, it will be considered incomplete and may cause a delay.
3. Save the file as your last and first name - IA ( ex: Johnson Robert - IA)
4. Email the file to applications@agreaterharvest.org
5. Come to the site on the next distribution date (check calendar). On the application, enter the date (bottom right) you are coming to the site.
NOTE: If this is an emergency case, after you email your application, please call the office 973/318-7337 ext 1 for further information.
6. Please bring all applicable documents (photo I.D., proof of address, income [food stamp card and or TANIF acceptable], & children [birth certificates or passports only] - If there are other adults in the household, bring their proof as well) at the time of your visit so that you may be fully registered.
7. For RENEWALS only – If you have received a letter from AGH stating ‘time for renewal’; this means it is time for us to update your information in our system and make the necessary modifications to the packages you will receive in the future. You may complete an application online. Check the renewal box (bottom left corner), and follow Step 8. You must bring the RENEWAL letter and AGH Intake I.D. card ($5.00 fee for lost card) as well as the information listed in Step 6. At the end of your registration process, you will receive a new AGH intake I.D. card.
8. When you arrive, please let the Ticketeer know that you have already completed your application online.

REFERRALS

If you would like to become an organization/agency that refer clients to A GreatER Harvest, please call (973/318-7337 ext 1) and set up an appointment.

Only authorize agencies/organizations with assigned I.D. numbers should complete this form.

REFERRAL - INSTRUCTIONS
1. Please click here to download the referral card.
2. Fill in all the information that pertains to you & your organization/agency on the top part of the card [enter your assigned # for your organization I.D.].
3. Fill in the clients' info on the lower portion of the card.
NOTE: If this is an emergency, check emergency box (bottom right corner), email card (follow steps below) and call our office immediately!
3. Save the file as - RC - your Org. I.D. # - last name (of client) and first name (of client) Ex: RC 50 - Johnson Robert.
4. Email the file to referral@agreaterharvest.org
5. An application also needs to be completed for the referral. Go to APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE NOW and follow the steps to complete and submit an application.

How often Can I get Items from the Food Pantry?

A GREATER HARVEST (food pantry plus) distributes food and nonfood items to families weekly (unless notified otherwise). Everyone is advised to check the website periodically or call 973/318-7337 for event distribution dates, time, and location.
